which angle thru hull do I need?

I am going to install a airmar B-60 in my 20' SF,do I need the 12 or 20 degree angle?Also,where is the best location from the keel for the installation? I have searched and can't seem to find the answer yet and I need to get it ordered,Thanks CSC!!

Lordwrench,

Get the fixed 20 degree tilted version as it is for hulls with deadrise from 16 to 24 degrees. The 20SF has a 16 degree deadrise.

As far as location, based on a single engine, I would mount the transducer as close to the stern just inboard of the step closest to the keel. That will minimize the air in the water which causes noise on the fish finder.

Remember to red the top of the transducer to point the right edge towards the keel.

20 degree. There are specific instructions about mounting locations that come with the unit.
