Trim Tabs on 20SF
 

What is the best choice for trim tabs for a 20SF? I know there must be a ton of information on trim tabs here but I can't find it. Any suggestions for install would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

buy bennett m120 for it. very easy install. i have them in mine and they make a night and day difference.

The Bennett 9x12s work well too.

My boat plane real easy It Doesent climb out if the hole just a easy even rise Onto plane. I alway have a second person up front. And didnt think i needed tabs
What benefit are you getting from them ?

i've been real happy with my Bennet m-120s. In addition to getting on plane quicker, it allows you to make side to side adjustments to compensate for uneven loads, leaning into the wind, etc. Being able to raise the wind side of the boat keeps you drier.

I never had them on my Seacraft 20sf but got use to them on my Pursuit 2470. It's really is nice to be able to level the boat with uneven load or people moving around. Without them I would just change my position at helm. No big deal but its a nice convenience. I definitely want to install a small dive platform with ladder so I'm not sure is that will interfere with trim tabs.

I'd also vote for the M120, but I'm a little biased! They will give better lift with less drag than the 12 x 9s and fit nicely on the stepped transom. The short actuators that come standard with the M120s will fit under most platform ladder setups.
