imported to the UK from Scituate, MA I believe my Potter Seacraft 23 built in 1976 is possible the only SeaCraft in the UK, if anybody knows differently or has photos of their Seacraft in the UK do let me know. So here is a photo of her in Salcombe, Devon yesterday.

LOOKS GOOD!

With the Stars and Stripes on the aft end, I am sure the Brits won't have any questions on where the boat is from :D

To your question of the only seacraft in GB, probably not, but still a rarity. Kudos!

Regarding the "Stars and Stripes", definitely and I'll bet you'll meet alot of very fine people (Friends you haven't met yet) and have a Jolly Good Time to boot! - LUCKY DOG!

Now that's a first. A CC offshore florida boat with the beautiful background of Devon.
Looks great mate.

Nice to see you got the boat home. My daughter Karen told me you were shipping it back. I still have a 1970 / 20'. Been in the family since "72". We love our Sea Crafts.

Thanks to you all for the great comments. Thanks "Big Swede" I miss the conversation and shared enthusiasms for our Boats and the tales that Karen related. Last night at 33 knots, 3 miles out in perfect conditions was worth all the effort of bringing her to the UK.

For interest, Salcombe was one of the bases used for the of US Navy in the preparation for the Invasion of France on June 6th 1944. Some of the houses here were bombed and where we are staying is only 20 yards away from the Butchers that was destroyed. The Dock here is now called "Normandy".

Remnants of the landing craft dock can still be seen on the beach. Around the corner just a few miles up the Coast at Slapton Sands the US Army took over 30 square miles of countryside, vacated all the the residents and used live ammunition in their preparation exercises for D Day.
During one invasion preparation "Exercise Tiger", 700+ Americans were killed in one evening when the landing craft being used for training the troops were attacked by German E Boats in a long time covered up disaster. A few years ago a Sherman Tank was recovered from the sea and now stands as a memorial to these lost troops.

Our Country will be forever in gratitude to the assistance and sacrifice made by those brave Guys during these times.
