Mosely 21' Legend - time to see some video

Of the legendary 21' Mosely D V running through 3-4' chop so we can see what it's all about.

Enough talk - let's see some video.

Ya Carla, let's get some of your Dad's GoPro HD videos from 1967!! Well maybe not......

Maybe we can oblige you. If I can talk Islandtrader into it(after he gets the boat done) and a cold front and our schedules cooperate, I'd like to get his 21 and my 25 out on a rough day to do a little comparison. Video should not be a problem, unless it really jumping.

Boca Grande Pass inside or out, 25 kt wind from any northerly direction would be tough but managable testing grounds.

Good - looking forward to it, run in the real chop that fisherman hit in these size boats ......

These are the size waves we deal with in 20 - 25' boats - and we talk about " which rides the best" ..... Whether it's 2' - 4' seas or 3-5's....

Getting to see the Mosely 21' from inside the boat, and if possible, from a buddy boat perspective to see how it rides.

The pass and outside is my thought. That piece of water can get wicked.

I don't think video will capture what is happening inside the boat, but from an adjacent boat should be the trick.

23 does kick ass job for it's size in any weather. Plenty of evidence that the hull design is very special. But who wants to fish in this weather.

I've been caught in my 20' Seafari out in weather like that, Tim, but I promise you, I wasn't fishing and it most certainly was NOT fun. I got caught by a squall coming in from 30 miles out in the Gulf of Mexico, with only a 120 hp Chrysler for power, and my wife and two kids on board.
Funny how when the waves were breaking and 10'-12' , I found myself praying as hard as I ever had in church.

That pics been around a long time - and supposedly some video to go with it.
