I am the lucky new owner of fdheld34's latest project: http://www.classicseacraft.com/commu...ad.php?t=23572

Fred already did all the hard work, but I'll probably be making some minor improvements this winter. Things like a swingback cooler seat instead of the chairs, custom cushions, a canvas cover for the console access hatch, new cleats, custom grab rail around the new windscreen, etc. If anybody has suggestions for where to get this stuff, fire away!

Gem Products Inc.(gemlux) has some nice ss fixtures & they are reasonably priced. I bought their stellar slam latches, cutting edge sleek pull up cleats,thr-hulls,gas fill & 3spoke steering wheel for my 18 SF & I'm very pleased with the quality.

Tim,
Congratulations on your new acquisition. That's a nice little boat, and Fred gave it some love. Let me know (by PM) when you're ready for that cooler seat. I've got one I pulled from my '83 20sf that's in good condition except for the cushions. It can be had for a nominal donation to ClassicSeacraft.com and a trip to gator country to pick it up.

Welcome aboard and Congrats Tim!
Flipper's ( Err, I mean) Fred's boy called me again, poor kids already missin' his skiff;).
Tim, I hope you're in the neighborhood so the boy can catch some fish with you in a couple of years. Nice job Fred. Boat looks great! Hope your saving up for a Matthews 21:cool:.
