What Components Needed for a Merc Repower

I'm raising my transom to 25" and I have found a 2005 Optimax that I'm interested in.
Since I'm replacing an old Ocean Pro 150 I know that I will need a new harness and switch. Also, new cables would be needed. Is there anything else I would need to complete the job?

I did the same thing, Merc from OMC. Did it all myself with the help of eBay. Controls, shifter, wiring harness, etc. can be bought on the web to save you some $$$. Where you located? I have an extra Merc oil tank cheap.

Where are you and what are you doing with the OP?

Thanks for the info!

I'm located below Tallahassee in the little town of Panacea, FL.
My transom is being replaced in Crystal River, FL. I haven't offered the Ocean Pro for sale yet, but I sell it if someone is interested. If the feds keep limiting the fish I can keep I might just put an electric trolling motor on it and putt around:):(
