I thought about starting this thread so we can get ideas from each other on some mods for Center Consoles. How about we post some photos and details of your Center Consoles.

I personally just got an original MA CC that i am trying to figure out if to flush mount my electronics or not. here is my new to soon be install Center Console.

Let's see yours!

There was a boat done on this site that had the "NUTS" of a console. A true home for all his electronics. Mind you, it was a lot of work! It had a mahogany lid at the top and it would retract into the top of the console. Not only sharp in appearance, but also a great margin of security. Kind of the train of thought, "Out of sight, out of mind!"

Maybe someone will remember the thread and chime in or start a search. I tink it was more than a year ago, but less than three. Good luck.

Here's mine...

The Teak Louvered door/frame w/ "locking" feature is FOR SALE...

Sullivan21 01-17-2013 10:14 AM

If anybody needs a center console I have one for sale that would look grey in a 20-23' SC it needs hatches and paint but it's good for a project. It's listed on the classifieds here.

Mikem8560, your gauges are on starboard right? and that flush mount for storage, is also out of starboard?

Old'sCool 01-17-2013 12:27 PM

Starboard here also. Glass would look nicer.

That dont look bad at all! I may put starboard as well, but instead of screwing it outside, ill screw it from the inside to still show the classic original teak frame on the console.
