starboard replacement
fyi.....if you need a thin (1/4") piece of starboard and don't want to pay 30 to 40$ for it....
go to WalMart/ Target etc....and buy one of the big white cutting boards. same stuff and only 12 or 13$ I used it as a replacement cover for the old piece of teak in the splashwell. I wanted to install a hatch for access to bilge pumps etc....however could not find a hatch that was waterproof and narrow enough and round will not work....the previous owner or factory (?) cut an 8" x 14" rectangle back there. |
Great idea! thanks.

Most cutting board material is acrylic and uv will degrade it over time. It'll still look fine for at least a couple years. I always by starboard from Cesany plastics. Leftovers can be had cheap.
