soda blasted bottom on sceptre

I just had my bottom soda blasted and will be barrier coating tomorrow. I am thinking of going with interlux offshore vc. This is a bottom paint for race boats that you can burnish. Do any of you guys have experience with this stuff? I am trailering the boat and need something harder rather than too ablasive.

Who'd you get for soda blasting?

Greg Silva out of Westport Ma, Southcoast Sodablast. Very nice job and clean, spent alot of time in preparation.

Mike - What boat is that one? You pick up a new sceptre?

Yes this is a new one. I just picked it up from a friend of mine. This was CSC member Jenalynn's old boat. This was the original for sale thread http://www.classicseacraft.com/commu...ad.php?t=23887

I have always maintained that the BEST stripper (paint :D) is your check book!

2 coats of offshore vc by interlux. Going to need another coat. Not happy with this bottom paint so far. After 2 coats still not covering completely. Not happy with this paint for 300 bucks a gallon.
