Terry, I saw this early this morning, a friend sent me the link who knows nothing about mechanical things and even he was impressed!! Way, way beyond my abilities....just too cool!!

Crafty stuff, like the way he shapes over a framework - must have been a boatwright in another life. Ernie's quite a craftsman. Thanks for postin'. Nice to hear Steve Miller doing Mercury Blues, again...

DAMN, now I realize how mediocre I really am.This guys mechanical abilities are amazing .The talent some people possess is simply incredible.
Even better is that it brought back memories of my hot rod Days. How I wished I still had the 62 Chevy with the 409,and the 64 Ford Galaxie with the 427.

Thanks for sharing this video

I've always admired the Street Rodders for their craftsmanship, creativity and ingenuity, but that little Merc is the best I've ever seen! What's even more impressive is the miles he's put on it! Definitely not a trailer queen, which many show cars are.

Wow!! How the hell do you make a wheel from scratch? Unbelievable.
