Going down south!

I will be heading from Eastern North Carolina down to seacraft country tommrow to pick up the 27 race boat to carry it back to NC. I will be down mixed in with all the motorcycles in Florida this weekend to meet Richard and will be loading up that cool piece of history. I didnt plan to go to daytona area the weekend of bike week but maybe the traffic won't be to bad. If your between NC and FL be on the look out for that slick girl heading up the I-95.

Bring your trailer kit with you. Have fun and take it slow. Check you hub temps at a few miles and when you can.

Got to love smart phones. Sitting here at a rest stop in South Carolina waiting for the dog to poop. Not back yet but over half way. New axles, hubs, wheels and tIres but even with that said I have went slower on the way back and funny you say that about the hubs, that's the first thing I do each stop. Also I always carry 2 spares and a tool box with bearings, Greece and a spare hub with lugs. Hope the rest goes well only problem yet was that the Gideon pole port side snapped off where the u bolt was holding it on. Drug it a mile before someone flagged me down. Minor to me long as I get back without nothing else!

Made it home!!! In one piece, well two pieces counting the trailer guide pole. Arrived back at midnight. 10.5 hrs there 12 hrs home. Don't need no more road time anytime soon. All this for a boat. And what a boat she is. Needs a lot of work. One of everything but believe it or not the original stringers in the boat are still solid 40 plus years latter. Time for the work to begin!
