Small world of Seacraft owners

Today, while having some minor surgery done on my neck, and just as I am getting injected with a healthy dose of novacaine, I mentioned to the Doc that I was just repowering my 74 20 ft. Seacraft. Turns out the Doc has a 20 ft. CC Potter and a 23 CC. Sooooo for the next 45 minutes of him cutting and scraping we are yapping about Seacrafts and everything about them. Made the time go by quicker but hope he didn't forget anything......Its a small happy Seacraft world

Cool!!

Thats cool. It is a small world, Back last spring when I made the trip down to Key largo to pick up My 25 Seafari ,I needed to stop buy a suntrust bank to withdraw some cash to pay for the boat, Well I stopped off in a Flordia City branch and the teller had to get the bank mananger to OK the funds, while chatting with him I told him about the Seafari and he was said he was a Seacraft owner too, he said his wifes faimily had seacrafts going back to the early 70s, and he actually met his wife on biscayne bay while seeing her on her dads seacraft ! He said they still had the same 20 and go out almost every weekend on it.

I've run into a bunch of SC owners.

True story - after i finished restoring my 23cc, i met the previous owner by sheer chance. He had another SC 23cc and we started talking at the ramp about his old SC that sunk in the slip. He told me his name and i was like.............um, i have your old boat. Because i had restored it, he did not recognize it and couldn't believe his eyes. I bought the boat through an insurance company, never met the owner, but i remembered his name from the title.

He had hundreds of pictures of my (now) boat from its former life. Small world

small world

For sure- as I have stated here before- was sitting by a pool in LBK last year and an older guy walks by and see's my SeaCraft hat- asks if I have one and I say yes and turns out he had one way back when and it's currently being restored by Carla on this site. An old 21.

Also have had numerous people see my shirt or hat and say something to the tune of "yeah they are great boats".

Just wish they were still making them.
