Not quite a classic, hope somebody can answer please

I bought a 25 Seacraft and was wondering if somebody might be able to answer a question. It's a 2002, there is a floor box in front of the center console that drains into the bilge. There is a deck hatch directly aft of that box that gives access to the bilge area where the box drains. In that area is what appears to be a 3/4" pvc pipe that I assume runs to the back of the boat as I see a 3/4" pvc pipe back by my bilge pump that runs forward (assuming this is the same pipe).

Can anybody confirm this? That forward bilge area is not draining well, I tried to snake the pipe, and used water pressure also to no avail, still clogged and not draining.

Thank you.

Water does not drain thru that PVC pipe. It should run either side of it.
No structural properties to it. Try mixing some red food coloring & water into the box and follow it back in the bilge. You probably just have a drain issue.

Thank you for the reply. The bilge in that area (forward of the console and accessed via the deck hatch) appears sealed with the exception of that pvc pipe. When I look at the pipe in the aft end where my bilge pumps etc are, I can see water SLOWLY coming out of it.

There is another drain inside the center console, aft and underneath my fresh water tank. I also assumed that was Tee'd into that 3/4" pipe so everything was carried aft.

I'm not well versed on that newer SeaCraft. Sounds like something is in the pipe. again, pour some red water in there and see if it comes out aft bilge or not.

Hope it's not one of these I caught in my bilge

I used a fish tape to try and push the potential clog through. Didn't work.

Drain

I don't suppose you could try pushing the other way. up the drain.. Perhaps a lead egg sinker is in there..JMTC
