Bermuda
 

My wife and I are heading to Bermuda for a long weekend in the beginning of June. the plan is to spend the majority of our short stay relaxing on the beach but if there is anything in particular that we should be sure not to miss or any restaurant suggestions out there, I would appreciate hearing them. Thanks

I have never been there, but I am thoroughly fascinated by some alleged, geometric/geologic/geomorphic anomaly in the region. I'd be prone to investigate...:cool:

This year will be my 13th year going to Bermuda sponsoring the "The Bermuda Big Game Classic" Tournaments and I am no expert but, can give you a good start, hope you have deep pockets too. In no particular order but, these are a must: "Little Venice" Italian, "Port A-Fino" Itailian, "Coconut Rock" Sushi, "Harbor Front" Seafood, " Four Ways Inn" for Sunday Brunch, "Blue" on golf course, get there before dark for an increatable view!! And of course "The Swizle Inn" home of the killer "Rum Swizle" !! There motto is "Swizle in and swager out"! BTW, While on island ask about the chirping Tree Frogs. Hearing them at night would make you think they are crickets but, actually frogs. No insects on Bermuda??? One last thing, if your a user on this site you must know about SeaCrafts so keep your eyes open, Bermudians like there Crafts. Great fishing too so, support a charter and do some if the mrs. likes?
I personally know of a few members on here that our Bermudians so maybe they will chime in also? Have fun!!:cool:

Thanks for the restaurant list. Pockets are not that deep but this is our first weekend without kids since our 2nd was born two years ago so a little splurging is in order.

The limestone caves and fort were very cool. The ferry boats are worth the ride. And yes, lots of SeaCrafts......I think I counted 7 at RBYC.

All good suggestions so far.

If you & the wife are up to it, you should also rent a scooter. Definitely the best way to see the island.

Wednesday late afternoon the city of Hamilton host Harbor Nights. Normally there will be live entertainment, and vender's selling stuff. Its always nice to walk around, and get a bite to eat at one of the near by restaurants.

When visiting Bermuda you have to get on the water. Her are my suggestions all ranging in price.

Unfortunately we will only be there from noon Friday to Monday morning so we will miss the harbor nights.

The boat rentals are an interesting option. Certainly cheaper and more flexible than a fishing charter. It would be nice to catch some fish though.

Great guy and fun way to see the island. Fish little cove flats for bones. Really fun...bones were not huge but great day. Enjoy.
