My new to me 1974 20' SF. I removed everything from the boat. It's in much better shape than I expected. Very little rot in the transom at this point I see no need to open the transom any more. Fuel tank has a small pin hole top side near the vent line. How many gals. do these tanks hold? Off to a great start.

Multiply dimensions (in inches) and divide by 231. There are 231 cubic inches in a gallon. L*W*H/231. Hope that helps.

Thanks FossilMan, 60"X24"X8"=11,520 divided by 231= 49.8 gals. very cool thanks again........

My old 77 20' sf had the same set up with the wheel on the right and the controls on the left always thought that was strange as well . Trimming out the motor was a bit ackward with the thumb control on the wrong side but got used to it
