Fwc Hard card

Nevermind

Back in early 1994 the state offered the lifetime saltwater fishing
license for $300.. Myself and two of my good friends spent the money
and several weeks later in the mail comes my "hard card"..
It is just like a credit card instead of paper..
I still carry the original card that was issued to me #130

Just could not beat the deal, because you are grandfathered in on any changes to the law or price increases..

The 5 year is also a CC type not paper!!

Thanks Ken, Glad you found an answer Martin,
I almost lit this one up...;)

I got a lifetime a year or so ago that's a credit card looking thing. It's still on the order of 300 for saltwater only.

FWIW in fl if you lose your paper license...it's gone, no replacement, buy another one! Not sure what the protocol is on 5 yr and lifetime licenses...I now copy, or at least take a pic of mine.

Yeah, I got my 5 year saltwater CC style, with all the stamps, when I turned 60. Last one I'll have to buy. :)

Always hated the fact that they stole the revenue from those licensees that may be needed in the future and cashed in on it now.
