I wonder if you could just move the engine hump forward 3 feet?
It would make for better fishing access at the stern, you could use the fuel tank hatch cutout as a start, and you could walk around the hump on the port side to gain access to the cabin? I think it is 16-18" from the deck to the keel stringer there.
It might wash out in CG though, if you fill a stern tank or two with fuel.
No way I would try this until I had to repower, and that would mean a diesel.

When I bought it, my 25 was set up with dual side consoles set back about where a center console would be, and it just didn't work. The previous owner cut off the windshield and sent it to the dump in an effort to remedy the poor sight lines over the cabin, which is why I had to make my own. So a 25 Seafari conversion to a 25 Savage would need to have the cabin cut down as part of the mods. Then it could work.
But the purists would go apoplectic.
