you mean ahead of the dry storage, or the dry storage area shown in this drawing?

My tank is in the dry storage area, if that's what you mean. I wonder about the rigidity if you cut up the area between dry storage and the casting platform. But I have never been in there.

DonV ... LOL ... I like cutting !!! I use my grinder with a diamond tile blade more than a saw though... but it will buck on you very qwickly... found that out cutting out the splash well for the new hatch.. i was just thinking this space would be a good spot for the batteries .. thinking 4.. left the sound going for a couple hours last hitch home, 3 are workin so far but i have another amp and 2 more speakers to go and i want to add a troling motor to the front... and a small fresh water tank.... Jus t trying to pre plan for the winter ...

Fishstretcher ... yep that area... there apears to be a large void there that would be great for battery storage and a water tank... Ohh and that area that says dry storage... it aint really dry if Aholes run through the no wake when you are trying to back your boat out from the ramp... water ran dman near up the the bow !!!!!! good thing my wife doesnt bring here good beach bag or i would have gotten chewed out ... then i would have chased him down and return the favor !!!

You need to add one of these to your collection. When I did my gunnels I set it at 1/4" deep and off I went. It's small enough to cut bends as well as straight lines. There are about for different blades you can get for all kinds of cutting. Seeya

I believe the dry storage is created when the factory put the smaller tank in and when they put the larger tanks in it took up the dry storage space. But yes the space between tank and deck is clear.

Thanks !!! and you would know since you tore yours all the way down !!!

Don.. i wnat one of the those and the (Feine SP??) saw... but since my cap seperates easily i am going to take it off and flip it... as far as i can tell it wasn't sealed to the hull.. i also plane on glassing some rigging tubes under the gunwale to make runnig wires "more eaiser"...lol .. thinking 1/2" or 3/4" poly tubing for flexibility and thinner wall thickness not full run one pice but in sections to all me to access wires if needed every few feet....
