Florida Keys (Where to stay on a budget)

Hi Guys
I'm looking to head down to the keys with the family for some fishing. My wife recently stopped working to stay home with the little ones so this has to be a trip on a budget. Looking for something simple and clean.

Thanks in Advance

Are you bringing your boat?
If so that changes everything...
La Jolla as Jorge says is good..
Ragged Edge Resort has boat ramp, dockage etc..

This is the middle Keys...

Just depends upper, lower or middle..

All the Florida members on this site have info on all of the keys.

Keep us posted.

Hey Jorge

If I wanted to run the boat to the Atlantic side how far of a run is it to bud n Mary's? Also can you recommend fishing areas? I generally like to target fish we can toss on the grill, dolphin, tuna, snapper etc...

Jesse....the "budget" thing will be tough.

Try the Breezy Palms, Lower Maecumbe Resort, Caloosa Cove Resort, all are in either Upper or Lower Matecumbe (Islamorada). You will need to make some calls to find the best deal because the "snowbird" season is right on us and the prices go UP.
