No, not that type of drought...no worries there. I just picked up another 225 Ocean Runner and it looks to be the real deal!

Great picture. Am I seeing right that it sits above the chine? We gotta get working on ours soon.

Yep, pretty crazy....looks like she's begging for twin 150s the way she sits. The boat is just like my other 79 23! Light, but strong.

nice looking im jealous funny window thought not opening as a bowrider and you would have to crawl through the hole to drop the anchor

Mike-yes that is a real pain- that center window. I need that ladder that makes the access easier.

Wow! My 74 is a barge compared to that. The only time you will see my chine is when she's on the trailer.

Light, right, n runnin tight.

The conspiracy was created for us. You have to have max power, or you are underpowered.
That is a light boat sitting perfectly on her lines. Nice.

I dunno. Modern 25" 150's are heavy.

Twin Merc Opti 150s = 862 lbs
Twin Evinrude Etec 150s = 866 lbs
Twin Merc 4S 150s = 910 lbs
Twin Zuke 150s = 960 lbs
Twin Honda 150s = 960 lbs
Twin Yamaha 150s = 990 lbs
Twin Merc Verado 150s = 1030 lbs

OR

one (1) Seven Marine 557 = 1045 lbs
one (1) Yamaha 350 = 763 lbs
one (1) Merc Verado 350sci = 645 lbs
one (1) Zuke 300 APS = 615 lbs

On a brighter note, the 2.6L Etec is currently being raced in the F1 circuit and producing a reported ultra-reliable 340 hp out of only 435 lbs.
