Anchor hatch on bow

In the middle of restoring a 1971 20' and am wondering if anyone has closed off the open anchor locker/ bow eye access and put a hatch on the top cap for anchor storage??

I am not a huge fan of the open storage and am trying to find a way to close them off, I have a plan for the rod storage but trying to decide on anchor storage. Any input/ suggestions would be appreciated.

Do some searches up here. That has been done by quite a few people, especially on the 23's.
