23 cc restoration

Just acquired a 1979 23' cc... Was gonna bracket it with an etec.. Any thoughts or dos and donuts?? Do u want to remove the thru floor scuppers??

Welcome aboard! I'd suggest you consider the Hermco Bracket . . . all glass, so never any corrosion worries. Rig it like Don recommends, with all rigging going thru transom into flotation tub and then up thru swim platform . . . leaves a nice clean swim platform that's easy to walk across. Check out Capt. Chuck's rig for lots of clever ideas on how to set up a cc model. Also check out the E-TEC Owners group web site http://www.etecownersgroup.com/ for some great technical support and answers to any engine questions!
