Gunwale Extension
 
Hey guy's I don't have a SeaCraft boat but I'm finishing off a transom rebuild and bracket conversion and I thought you guys might like to see some pictures of the gunwale extension I'm doing. This is my first attempt at making a fiberglass mold...
I'm planing to tackle a bracket build in the future but since I've been off the water for almost 2 years, for now I picked up an off the shelf pod for $400 to mount the outboard on....if it fit's:(

I'm not sure why the PVA bubbled up in the next picture, but I'm guessing it was contamination of some sort.:eek:

That's modeling clay in the corners, I custom made a tool for each corner to get the shape just right.

The gap is because I didn't include a flange on the mold so I allowed some extra room to add one in later.
