50 Again

Well the Old 21 is 50 years old and so in her honor last night I had a nice open stretch of calm water (ski alley) and with 4 people on board we got it up to 50 according to the gps.:D

I can say one thing...25 to 45 is a piece of cake. That stroker pulls hard and accelerates quickly. 45 to 48 not to bad. But watching it go from 49 to 50 one tenth of mph at a time is a little time consuming....

50 years old and 50 MPH! What a great way to celebrate! About like Bush the Elder doing a parachute jump at 90!

Gilli, actually at 50 mph the fuel flow read 25 gph....not good, but really not that bad when you think about it.

Only cost about $2.50 per mile :p
