Want to buy: Aluminum Transom Support Plate 20sf

Hi guys, looking to put a plate on my 20sf to buy a few seasons, the transom isnt 100% but no serious flex yet. Figured i would check in and see if anyone in the northeast has one kicking around prior to a refurb? If not i have a few local options to have one made. Thanks!

I "plated" mine with 5 feet of 6063 aluminum c channel. It works great. I think I listed mcmaster carr P/N for the channel somewhere.

I think it was under $60 shipped.

Here's a pic from the inside. It held a 150 4 stroke yamaha on a broken Transome .

Unfortunately i am showing the engine well section of the transom to be around 24-25 across. Surprising that an MA was that much wider! Either that or I am missing something, highly likely...

Plate

Your correct the opening on the MA is much bigger. I just measured the almost famous red SF in my shop. ( Bryan A 's ) The plate is alumn and could be cut with a saws all or jig saw.
