t top rear shade

it pretty hot here in the summer and im always always looking to improve the shade so I came up with a simple solution. a frame and canvas same size as the t top that stores on top you can still use the rod holders but when you need more shade flip it to the rear presto

That's a cool shade!
Hope you don't mind if I copy it?

not at all my frame was 1" so 1: clamp on jaw fitting mounted to the t top and hinge I used a bungy cord to hold the forward curved edge of the canvas and when flipped forward allows the canvas to lay on the curved / crowned t top canvas

te chade frame dave mount by the vhf antenna that allows it to lay at the front of the t top forward

Great idea there! Do you mind posting a close up of where it's attached to the t-top?

here you go tiny you can see the 1" clamp on fitting that hinges the shade

as the frame if flat so its the same up or back so it had no chance of holding water even though the top angled to the rear I put 6 grommet around to drain
