May ACCIDENTALLY buy another ....

I came across a "deal" on a 20 Seafari too good to pass up on ... it is a inboard boat with a Mercruiser 233 " 351 ford" i think... it needs manifolds and some cosmetic interior glass as i was told .... someone PLEASE talk me outta this !!!!!!!! Is this a typical power plant ?? i thought it to be on the large side but not sure .... and if nothing else ... bracket / outboard boat ... the wife liked Dennys boat when we were at Anclote last year ... and she already gave the go ahead on this one ....

Dang Rusty, you're a lucky dude to get such a blessing. Way to go Tabatha. Hurry up boy, before she changes her mind :D

LOL ... I sent her the Linc when she had had a couple beers .... and i saved the email response of BUY IT to have documentation if she tries to crawfish on me.... LOL i will be getting the boat for 650 or so plus my fuel to pick it up...

Good score Rusty!!! I like your "she had had a couple of beers" method of getting the wife's OK :) I'm going with same idea when I get my power pole for the Pathfinder......instead of beer I might go with the "pink pantie drop" shine as an added bonus!!!

That's a LOT of power for a 20, not to mention a great deal! Further evidence that the Seafari is the most underappreciated boat in the entire SeaCraft line up! If you can get it running, it might be worth trying it out with existing power before you go to all the trouble of adding a bracket and repowering. Y'all are welcome to check out my boat more closely at Cayo Costa!

I had a 20' Bertram with a 280HP 350 in it and thru hull exhaust just below the wl - it was a great ride and pretty fast but wouldn't self bail (designed for a 165HP I6). Changing spark plugs was a bitch.

A V8 in a 20' Seacraft would be a much better package. I like the idea...
