Raymarine B60-20, 20 Degree Tilted Element Transducer

Looking at using this type of thru hull ducer in my 87 Scepter. Is the 20 degree tilt the optimum angle for the deadrise?

I have the 20 degree B164 and it's perfect.

I feel you... I was really itchy about drilling a 3-1/2" hole in the bottom of mine to install my 20 degree 264N but it was way worthing being able to have a clear bottom pic at 30 knots.

Understood haha, I've done it once already for my water pick for baitwell and washdown. Definitely makes you feel uneasy.

Also anyone seen the difference between say the 600w versions and 1000w versions? I'll be connecting it to a Raymarine, C120 and a DSM300

DonV 11-12-2014 09:20 AM

If I remember correctly the DSM300 is the 1000w module, you need the B164. Both the units are the same as I have.

Here ya go.....http://www.raymarine.com/view/?id=14...nid=7&col=1474
