Sceptre Wire Runs

For you Sceptre guys, what is the best way to secure the wires that run from the helm back to the bilge? I am referring to the power wires for the pumps, transducer wires, etc. I know most run them underneath the gunwale on the starboard side. I am just not sure how best to secure them. I obviously want something that will secure them, but also gives me the ability to pull and replace wires as necessary.

TIA

There are some fiberglass hangers built into/below the starboard gunwale. That's where I ran my wires when I redid my boat. I used some thick zip ties and hung off of the mech
steering cable where the wires started to swag. Works good for me.

You could also use some PVC conduit that's made for running wires. If you ever had a wiring fire, it would tend to keep it away from the fiberglass which is extremely flammable. BTW, I ran the DS transducer wires along the port side on my Seafari, just to keep 'em away from any electrical noise that might be induced by the power wires.

I through-bolted my hull to deck joint with ss bolts and nylock nuts; when doing this I purposely used bolts about 1" to 1.5" longer than necessary so that I could attach the ss/rubber lined wire hangers from them. I through-bolted every 6 inches, so have plenty of attachment points all the way down the port and starboard sides. A royal pain to do for sure but has proven to be a good decision.
