I also need one for my 20. Port side.

Did the scepters have the same ones? If so I may be of help.

I don't know if scepters were the same..I am kinda new to the SeaCraft game. I could make a mold and repro them out of fiberglass, any other interest out there??

These drop in baskets were NOT part of the tooling on Potter built hulls.

Capt Chuck, thank you for that information..I guess that, those who would like them, will have to look on '80 and newer 23 Sea Crafts.would that be correct?

I really have not studied what went on with different SeaCraft models after 1981. Maybe the 20's had the inserts also? The major upside was different hulls were being built by different companies. They all had their ideas and made changes to the molds. The consistency of the Potter builts was lost.
I know some later hulls (I don't remember the year nor the company) were some of the 23's were produced with old / retired molds that had a "hook" on the inside step port side

Maybe some of the older members remember?
