Any eyes near Bristol, R.I. ???

Hey Gang,

I may need some eyes up in my home land. I will know tomorrow with some luck.

I may have also found a bracket locally and will call Hermco with specs as she is not one of his children. The seller thinks it is 12 degrees which should be fine. It is aluminum and a single bracket with a twin floatation tub. 30" setback with a 6 ft dive platform.

Cheers,
GFS

Never mind. One cylinder at 60...

Let me know if you still need someone to look. I have Monday off and might venture down there for another boat part.

Thanks Big.

I went to look at the bracket and it is not what I thought, but might work with some thought and help from the fine folks at Schmidts welding. Locals they got full penetration on 1/2 inch stock and looked like dimes. They are mostly retired but will work with friendly spirits.

There is a hairline crack on the top of the engine mount about 14" and the engine mounting holes are spider cracked a tad with heli coil inserts. May see what it will take to make it a 30" bracket. The tub is not that wide and flat on the bottom.

The good news: a 6 ft dive platform and 500 clams. Framing square said 12 degrees.
He also had a coffin box which is on my wish list, but he ain`t partin` with it. It would have fit nicely as it is narrow...

Just off the phone with my brother and they are gonna get whacked again. He shoveled about a ton of snow off their roof today. Cape Ann was just on the news as they are just down the street.

Brr,
GFS

Tim - I work in Bristol. Let me know if you want something picked up, and I can bring it back to Mattapoisett for you.
