Master angler conversion?

Is it possible to convert my 1976 MA into a SF? by switching the caps? has anyone done this? pros and cons, i really like the SF look alot more then the MA i just do not want to start over again with the guts of the hull.

There is a MA for sale on CL in KW and looks like they cut the cap flush like SF and put it back on
