Trim tabs for '72 bracketed sf

I have searched quite a bit through the archives and it appears that there are many opinions regarding best size of tabs to install. Anyone able to help me narrow it down? Thanks in advance!

I don't see a lot of reason for tabs on my 85 23.but I do have a nice 9x12 set of lencos on there...I am only hoping it rides correctly,as it seems kinda bow down to me....bracketed boat may be different
Does every body have hem on 23's ??

12X12 at a minimum but some guys prefer bigger (wider)

I'm using 9X12 Bennets with down fins and really like them. Helps to track straight at no wake speeds.

Same ones I have 12' wide and 9" long. If I was buying new I would go with 12 x 12, the 12" wide fits perfect on the outside of the hull
