is a 98 21 SC a Tracker...any coments on this hull or year....thinking of moving up a foot ,

LOL....Afew reasons...Slip size...bigger motor ....I have friends with 23s , I fish alone most of the time , inshore...Also I am getting older and painting bottom, waxing etc adds up,,,,I always liked the higher free board of the 21, and just a few inches wider ,longer, heaver would be better for me .....looking for input on this vintage 21......I have had my Potter for over 30 years now and needs repower, so just looking..

Those 21s are more like a 23 with 18" chopped off. Much more boat than the 20. If you have space limitations, go for it.

I had a 2000 21 from new until this spring- its a great boat. One of the things I loved about it was the deep freeboard. Only complaints were the in-deck livewell (always filled with water after rain or washdown), anchor access (no access from above), and bilge access (through the motor well) . Its a very versatile hull - can fish pretty shallow and run well offshore.
