I had a nice lunch today with Terry England at Andrews in Tallahassee. I just wanted to share with you all, what a gentleman Terry is and how hard he works for his community in Pinellas County.

A gentleman who has been causing wonderful trouble for a lot of years. He got me into Seacrafts about 1980.

Tom-Terry's reputation could really take a hit....with all that good guy stuff :D. He's a Gulf coast pirate. Always will be one. I think I saw him in Tampa Bay last weekend during the Gasparilla Invasion?!:eek:

I will tell you about Terry England..... If you drop that guy on your best spot and he comes back up with a big stringer of fish and tells you he left you one or two..... He's lying! :D

Let's move on to something interesting -

Something like -

"I just bought a 16' Scampi and I'm new to this site. It has a 140 Mercruiser. My question is this "Should I redo the stringers and use a 3/4" boot stripe before I install the Rolls-Merlin Go Devil on the Hydralic Jack Plate and tower and will the a 600 watt tansducer interfere with the 12" woofer I'm planning to install in the foredeck? Or do you think I should install a 240 Yanmar LP-6 D with a prop well and a casting platform instead since I am planning on going on the Bahamas/Abacos Gathering and don't really like bottom paint anyway because Bumpdraft told me it scares away the dolphin?
