Been dreaming about an old school project boat for awhile.
Drove by this beauty the last 3 years or so, thought it was a shame she was being left in an overgrown lot. Can't beat her name, SATISFACTION. And I can't get none either. So.....

After creeping this site too damn much I made an offer and brought her home. I'm thinking it will be a several year journey to get things done right. My 70 year old Dad and a buddy are shaking their heads.

Black mold everywhere. Wasn't sure what to expect. Worried I had bit off too much to chew.

Welcome - mold is no problem and I've seen much worse turned into showboats. The gelcoat outside actually doesn't look too bad. Betting that decks and probably the transom need some serious TLC. Get used to itching if you aren't already.

Wilmington NC boat. Mother nature reclaims everything over time. I think this is 10 or so years in the yard.

The move went well. I thought it could not have gone easier and I needed that for a change. Serenity now.

Getting her to a good place to work is done. Now starts the work. Where do we start.

Good luck with the restoration.

Motor came out slowly but surely. Busted knuckles heal but I can see why no one likes working on an I/O. We're going with a bracket and outboard.
