32 seacraft
WOW... I was leaving out of key west the other day and I saw this big yellow boat coming in. It past me and it was a seacraft. First time I ever saw one that big. Just did some research and I guess it was a 32 master angler... How do these ride? If it's anything like my 23, I need to start hunting for one. It looked like a sweet ride.

saw one for sale today for 64k lol
|
bad ass rig !
really like them ! got the standard notched transom and a real clean line ! love those rigs ! |
In 2001 I was ready to pull the trigger on buying one, till I took it for
a test ride..... Wet, wet, wet !!!!! My old 20 was a better ride, go figure. It needs more beam to compensate for the VDH. ;) Sorry to say the boat looks great but is not what you would expect ! :o Thats why you see them for sale for next to nothing... |
Thanks bones... That's what I was looking for. It looks like
My 23 was just stretched. I guess I'll just keep enjoying my 23 |
a quality enclosure solves the wet problem...
my old 23 was pretty wet - just like any other center console I've been on... wettest thing I ever ran,it was my old 31 Bertram ! wow !! never a dry spot on that rig ! |
Any CC can be wet in the right conditions but I have heard these were on the above average side of wet. Could have a lot to do with how much engineering went into the redesign. Bigger boat pushing the original design beyond constraints for speed and conditions. Little things make huge to the good or bad. My stretching a 23 to 27' could create or solve problems... But I'm willing to roll the dice.

I'm excited to see this 27' project.

Saw a 32' at Outdoor Sports World in Key Largo a number of years ago, that had a very large spray rail mounted at the hard chine, running about 30% of the way back from the front. Great idea. I presume it was to provide a drier ride.

spray rails are a good addition to center consoles - I made a mold,in my shop a while ago.i added these to quite a few center consoles - including a 25 blackfin I had and sold.a properly positioned set of rails, will knock down the "wet" factor,on any center console |
