Fish Finder finds car and dead body
fish finders really this good? I mean look at the clarity in that photo!

Yes, almost every manufacture is producing such imagery in a technology called "Down Scan" or "DownVu". I have it on the Garmin system on my Tsunami and it is a great tool for seeing the actual structure of what you are fishing. Mind you, the imagery on a flat lake in 27 feet of water is way more detailed than the images you get bobbing around offshore but some of the things I see are pretty impressive. I don't have any images from down view but here is a pic of a barge on "sidevu" which is basically the same but off to both sides of my boat.

Structure scans are pretty cool. They paint a pretty good picture.the old days are long gone

downscan is a must, always have it running split screen with the fish finder

Shoot, that Citation image is incredible... Brown X-11 w/ sport rims and Michelins...Dang, I need a new fish finder. Any suggestions (remember fellas I'm one of the poor boys on the site).
