Thanks NO Bones, its looking good! I do have a question though, my neighborhood requires all boats to behind a fence, so when we moved in a year ago, in anticipation of one day having a Seacraft boat I built a fence and put a large gate to make it easy to get the boat through. The problem is that there is only enough room to go straight back and park it which I did. The next morning when I went to take the boat out to take the family for a boat ride my truck just spun and would not pull the boat out. I ended up getting a neighbor with 4 wheel drive to pull it out. So my question is since the backyard has a slope and the boat sits at the bottom of the slope, would putting pavers down where the truck got stuck help so I have traction? Or what other solutions can do so I can still park the boat in the back yard?

Tom try checking your tounge weight on the trailer first.

you can also make a drive way with Rocks if you have a aggregate yard close.... I am doing concrete curbs to keep the rocks in.. I bought a kobalt mixer to pour my curbs with .... ( later project)

Gravel will be easy and cheap you may want to do some pavers to let the tires sit on

the picture shows No Bones what he sent, but I will take some to better illustrate my issue. It could be the tongue weight that Ryan mentioned but I hope not. I am buying a better boat cover btw that was just a temporary solution to protect the console = )

Move the fence.

Take a look at the pavers that are kinda like lattice work; criss-cross pattern concrete with holes about 3"x3". The work pretty well in some places and still let grass grow in the square holes. If you set them deep enough you can still mow across them without flinching too.:eek:
This shows them, but we used to get them pretty cheap at an ornamental concrete place.

if you go the gravel route ... use limestone and you wont need the pavers.... it packs like concrete and you can spray it with soy based concrete stain if you wish to change the color.. ( my wife doesn't like the color and wanted pea gravel witch NEVER packs )...
