Seacraft or Tracker?

I own a 1989, 18' center console. and I am the 2nd owner. The boat has Tracker on the sides, but also Seacraft decals on the console. The hull I.D. number is S1CF8200F889. Can someone tell me if I own a Tracker or a Seacraft? I have seen other 1989 18'ers on this site that are identical to my boat. Thanks.

Yes...:p

Short story,Seacraft model built by Tracker...I'm sure slacker will chime in...

Slacker here.
Tracker bought SC in `87.
You have a Sarasota built hull, which is a good thing .
Seal all points of ingress to the wood core.
The transom top trim causes many failures.

The fresh water kills them, not the salt.
Pull every screw and thru hull.

Probably due for a new tank...fill hose and related fun.

Cheers,and welcome
Slacker

Looking at a '91 tracker seacraft. The owner is using a 10 gallon tank for the motor right now. He said the tank in the hull needs to be cleaned. Anybody have any experience with Trackers and can give me any info about things I should look out for. How about the cost of a new tank if this one needs to be replaced.

Thanks in advance.

New tank $300-$500

My '89 Tracker 20' SF tank gave up the ghost 2 years ago so if yours is original it's probably close to replacement time. Loads of foam around it so it's a fun dig lol!
