Looking at a 23 septre advise needed

What should I be looking for. It's an late 80's w OB power. Any advise in determining if transom is wet? any known issues this model has? Will be in the water so I will sea trial it but no survey.

Welcome to CSC
I would get a survey for sure (out of the water)!
I don't know the exact years, but some of the Septre's (after Potter)were produced using an old mold which created a "hook" in the hull. Port side indside chine. A straight edge level would verify.
Member Bushwacker could add info on this problem.
As far as the wet transom, a competent surveyor would have a dampness meter in his arsenal.
Buyer beware and good luck in your search.
