Seacraft after Potter bad hulls ?

Really ? Some years reported to have " hooked " hulls, meaning not flat and therefore less efficient to run through water......

Read it from a recent poster.

This may be the post you remember. This is only the 2nd 23 I've heard of with a hook in the hull, so I don't think very many were made using that bad mold, and the hook isn't very large. I think the fact that they used plywood instead of balsa core in the decks on the SeaCraft Industries Sceptre's that made them a bit bow heavy is more significant. The owner of the boat I looked at had not noticed any handling problems, although I'm not sure he was experienced enough to notice a relatively subtle problem.

What's the method for checking and measuring ?

Blue Heron explained in detail how to check for a hook in post #11 of the 2014 thread I posted the link to in my previous reply.
