Satisfaction Is...

Sunday took the wife out for dinner and a stay over at the Tarpon Lodge on Pine Island for her birthday. As we are docking the boat the guy in the next slip over, who is rinsing his brand new Nautistar boat looks at mine and asks a few questions. I tell him it 50 years old...he drools. I then say to him I like his boat and that he should be proud(I do like the boat well rigged and quality build).

He says thanks...and then says...I would trade you even up right now!

I still have the 21 :D

X2.

I love your boat!

It's magnificent, beautiful, graceful, even elegant......and you did a fantastic job restoring.

That said, and given this model was made for serious use, wow, it would be thrilling to see it running on plane in 3'-4' chop. The hull designed to perform, and few have been able to experience or see it.

Like a porsche that's only taken for quiet Sunday drives. It's nice, and it's the owners choice, but it's like a caged lion. Ok, now I'll go away.

Your boat is beautiful, thanks for sharing the story. Nauticstar like any other modern boat, anyone with money can buy her at their local dealership but a beautiful Seacraft like yours cannot be bought which makes her so much more a diamond in the ruff!

Now that I have gotten my hands on a go pro type camera...you never know what might show up! :D

The nauticstar boats are very attractive. However, I've yet to see more than 2 rod holders on a new one!
