'77 20MA transom question

Thanks in advance...I tried to search for this, but could not find anything definitive.

In 1977, was the 20MA available with a 25" transom? Or were they all 20" transoms in '77?

Thanks.

I also have a 77 MA and it has 20" transom. Looking at replacing transom this upcoming winter but not sure whether to leave at 20", raise to 25", or close up completely and add a bracket.

My 79 MA was a factory 20 inch, replaced from the inside, in 1999, approximately three years before Jason started this website. Should have done a 25 inch but was not correctly advised. I am a fan of Bob's Machine 5 in 1 manual jack plate. Find the sweet spot and "Set it and Forget it"!
