Trim tab placement
1 Attachment(s)
I know it's been talked About before but my situation is maybe a bit more unique. I am getting rid of my ugly bottom paint and doing a white epoxy from the chines down. I have this chunk of starboard to mount my transducers to and it won't allow me to install the Bennett bolts 3" from the chine. How important is this spacing? How do these tabs react when they are spanning the longitudinal chines?

Yeah I see in the instructions where they want them outboard but it also says it requires a 3" space from the outer corners. Due to my X ducer placement they would have to go right at the edge. Should I just go to the trouble of relocating the X ducker panel or will they work set at the corners?

No Bones' tabs are old school so. fl xl and span the outer two chines. I can't remember if they go all the way out to the chine but his work very effectivly. I think they are 24".
