Just wanted to say thanks for the add. I am new to the site and wanted to post a couple pics of my Sea Craft as I enjoy looking at all of yours. She is a 23cc 1975 straight inboard, with a Cummins 6bta. She cruises at 22 kts and wot is 26-28kts. Boat has upper station with Simrad NSS 12 at lower and Simrad NSS 7 at upper controls. I added a new set of Marsh Tacky carbon outriggers last season, as well as wishbone outrigger mounts. The boat has been a fishing machine the couple years I have owned it. It rides bigger than any 23 footer I have been on. Hope you enjoy the pics and thanks again for the add.

Nice rig! Wow, that sure is big heavy diesel for a 23. My uncle has the same power in his 30' Dorado

Welcome to the site! Nice to see another seacraft fan in NC. Hope to see you out on the water sometime. Im a little more north of you but not too far away. Always like seeing local guys up here on the site. Hope to plan a seacraft owners NC area gathering one day around the Morehead City area...

I fish Morehead City quite often actually. I usually fish that way in the spring, and fish the summer and early fall out of Southport. She is a heavy rig, and you can tell with how well she rides in a rougher sea. I went from a Sea Pro 220 to this boat, and the two don't even compare.

Dream boat! We need more pictures please :)

Was this boat previously named classic?

pappacannon 06-13-2016 06:37 PM

Yes, I bought it a couple years ago and did some upgrades to her. It was in the Outer Banks for many years before I got it.

Welcome Pappacannon!

Great pictures! As a fellow inboard owner I know what your talking about regarding the ride!

Can you post some pictures of your engine and how it fits under the console? I have dreams of upgrading my boat to diesel one day and would love to see how the cummins fits in there!
