1989 23' Sceptre parts

10 Attachment(s)
I have a 1989 23' Sceptre that I'm going to be converting to a CC (It's Tracker-era, so I'm allowed to do that, right?). Everything except the hull, trailer and fuel tank are for sale. Until I sell the motor, I'm not going to part out anything I need to run the boat.

2001 Yamaha 225 OX-66. The motor is a 25" shaft, and includes a 17 pitch prop, wiring harness, key switch, binnacle, remote oil tank, and tach w/oil level. Exact hours are unknown, but the motor was bought used in '02, and there are 413 hours on the meter. The motor is still mounted on the boat and can be test run. $4500

Aluminum radar arch with stainless steel bimini. The top and frame are in good condition. There's some oxidation on the aluminum, but structurally everything is good. $800

Hynautic steering system. The previous owner had it "recently resealed". I've used it for about 6 months without needing to add fluid or pressure. $500

Fuel tank cover - just recored with foam and biaxial from Gulfstream composites. $100

Fuel access cover with pry-out plate - just recored with Meranti BS-1088 and biaxial $50.

Stern cover with livewell. No plumbing, "livewell" is just the hatch and tub. This was solid and didn't need recored. $50

If there's any other parts you need, let me know. I do have cushions for the cabin. I'll take those out and get some pictures as well.

You can contact me at:

(Don't know if this qualifies as a "boat" sale, but since I'm selling the top half of the boat I figure it's close enough).

What would you take for the windshield? Mine is pretty good but I'm kind of a pack rat.

If you want to come down and help me unscrew it, how about $100. Everything is functional on it.

How much for the seat boxes and all associated trim?

Thanks,

Matt

I could use the glove box and cabin hatch if you'd be willing to ship to CT.

Interested in fuel tank cover. I wouldn't suppose they made the 20 and 23 tank cover the same size? What are the dimensions?

I could be interested in the cabin cushions. I don't have any at all for my '85.

I need a fuel fill and cap.
Pic?

Sorry, I've been on vacation the past week out of the country.

Quite honestly, those were things I was expecting to have to cut up and take to the dump. You're welcome to them, if you can wait until I sell the motor (might make it tough to sea trial the motor, standing in holes.). I've got a couple people lined up to look at the motor now, so hopefully it'll be gone this weekend or next.

How much of the glovebox do you want? On my model, the glovebox is molded into the cap - one piece. Do you just need the door and framing? Do you need the square ventilation hatch behind the anchor locker or the hatch and door leading into the cabin from the cockpit?

Don't know if it fits the 20, but the tank cover is 30"x84". It doesn't have any access plates in it. On the 23, there's another small cover (30" x 19.5") that has the access plate in it.

Sorry, I've decided to redo the bow area the same as it's laid out in the Sceptre, so I'm going to reuse the cushions.

Sorry, I'll be reusing the whole fuel system on the rebuild.

I just need the glovebox door and framing. On the cabin hatch I need the one from the cockpit in to the cabin. My glovebox is covered up with a piece of wood at the moment and I'm using a piece of vinyl to cover the cabin access. I don't need the door. I just got a new one from 77SceptreOB.
