Membership Question

Although a SeaCraft owner for 40 years, I only became aware of CSC a few years ago from 65Bowrider and Bushwacker. I see there are almost 11000 members and 500 active members. I am curious how long a period does the total membership cover; i.e. when did CSC start? And what constitutes active members: based on logging on, submitting posts, or what? Also think I recently changed from a junior member to member; on what basis?

To the moderators and folks behind the scene, keep up the good work! It's nice to use an informative site where there is camaraderie and differences of opinions are good naturedly presented and not argumentative.

Capt chuck I see there are folks trying to get in the site having problems becoming members. Anything that can be done to make it easier?

It has been very hard to distinguish between spam and honest members.
Anyone having difficulties can send me a PM & I can approve them :)

I wonder sometimes, how many actual members there are. My join date says 2012. I actually joined the group in 2003, under a different name. I wasn't active for a long time and when I went to log in, I wasn't able to do so. Hence I created a different name. I suspect that there are lots of member names like that.
