Early 70's 20 vs 23 consoles

So my new to me 72 20 Super Fisherman came with a 23 i/o Super Fisherman console.

Did they use different consoles between these boats?
How different are they?

TPG - Are you referring to the big console with the door on the front and saying that came in a 20sf?

There's lots of mixing and matching that happen of the years with these boats.

The 1976 20 MA I owned came with the large console when I bought it. It wouldn't surprise me if they sold them that way from the factory.

Mine has a seat with insulated storage, no big door.

No door, just the big console. Has the teak trim.

I have a 1974 23 SF that came with a small console. I bought a bigger console from a member out of a 1985 23cc.. The small original console needs to be redone and is for sale if anybody near NJ wants it..
Thanks and enjoy!!

TPG,

That is not the large 23 console. That looks like a late model 20 console that would also be the "small" console on the 23.

Thanks :)
The forward storage is insulated which im probably going to glass over and protect and give me more "attachment space" inside the console.w

It also has a "visor" over the huge hole for electronics and a windshield (same material).
