It is time to sell the 23' SeaCraft. I don't like surprises when I go to look at things to purchase, so here is everything. It cruises at about 21 knots in the local bay with the current power. It is a 1976 Potter SeaCraft Center Console with an inboard 351. It runs fine currently, but it does leak oil so will need a repower in the near future. I honestly don’t know the hours or age of the motor, as this was my father's boat that he bought used and he passed away. It has a 3 blade prop on it right now, but I also have the 4 blade to go with it. It has a small but decent gps/depth finder on it (Garmin GPSmap 178C Sounder) and a vhf radio. The AM/FM radio does not work. It has a mount for a downrigger mounted on the starboard side and I have the downrigger for it. We redid the transom a few years ago, and it is solid. My father was planning on painting it but never had a chance before he passed, so you can still see a few resin colored spots where we filled in some of the needless thru hull’s in the transom when we replaced it and added the custom swim platform, and it is done right. There are 2 bilge pumps on the boat and it has shore power. We recently had one of the aluminum gas tanks replaced. The upholstery will need to be redone at some point. I have the original combing pads that I was planning to have reupholstered and reinstalling in the future that go all the way around the inside of the boat. It sits on a Galvanized dual axel bunk trailer that does not have a title. It also has a cover. I just power washed the bottom before the pictures, that is the reason for the look of the bottom.
Asking price $12,000.
Located in Ellicott City, MD

I tried to cover everything but am open to questions.
Thanks,
Chris

Planning to winterize this weekend. If you would like to see the boat before that is completed let me know.

Is the transom solid? Willing to negotiate on price?

The transom is very solid. I am open to conversations. Thank you for your interest.

Could I see a few pictures of the engine and the running gear. Also can you visibly see the oil leak??

Not sure why inboards are not in strong demand.
25k for an outboard.
They sit like ducks.
They slog through the slop.
Parts are cheap.
They sip fuel on the troll.
Nice clean transom.

Thank you gofastsandman. We love the aspects of the inboard. Just need something with a little more room/seating for the growing family.

FAS, I like them all too!
